Stacklink ® / Engineering for AI-native software Est. MMXXII

Studio · Est. 2022

We build the AI features that actually ship.

From greenfield products to integrations inside codebases your team already owns — we design, engineer, and harden the parts of AI that have to work in production. Backed by years of building software the rest of the stack depends on.

  • AI-native focus
  • Framework-agnostic
  • Seasoned engineering

What we do

We engineer the work most AI projects underestimate — the retrieval, the evaluations, the cost controls, and the interface that decides whether a model becomes a product people return to or a demo people forget.

— Outcomes that survive contact with real users, not slides.

What we do

Two ways to work with us — nothing more.

  1. 01

    Build

    AI-native SaaS, from zero

Greenfield products where the AI seam is the product, not a sticker. We design the data flow, the model boundary, and the interface together — because they are the same problem.

Discovery → architecture → iterative builds → launch. Typically 6–14 weeks to a usable v1.
  2. 02

    Integrate

    Slot intelligence into existing products

Most useful AI work isn't a new model — it's a careful integration into an existing codebase. We add chat, retrieval, agents, and structured outputs to products that already have customers.

Lightweight engagement. Two- to six-week scopes. We leave you with code your team can own.

How we think

Most "AI features" are integrations.

The interesting work is rarely about training a new model. It's about deciding what to send, what to retrieve, what to cache, what to show, and what to do when the model is wrong. That work belongs to product engineering, not to the model.

We build the seam carefully. We measure it. We don't add a chat box because everyone has one. We add what your customers will actually use — and we make it cheap enough to leave on.

Tools we reach for

We're framework-agnostic — these are what we reach for most.

Languages
TypeScript, Python, Go, Swift
Models & infra
Anthropic, OpenAI, Vercel AI SDK, Modal, pgvector
Web
React, Next.js, Astro, Tailwind, shadcn
Data
Postgres, Redis, Cloudflare D1, S3, DuckDB
Cloud
AWS, Cloudflare, Vercel, Fly.io

— but if your team already runs something else, we use that.

A short note is enough. We reply within 24 hours, usually faster.
